This is Sioni, she is 35 years old and the mother of 2 children aged 7 and 11. Sioni broke her leg in an accident. As she couldn't afford to see a doctor and only managed to fix her leg herself in a makeshift manner, it unfortunately didn't grow together properly, so that she can only move around on supports and with great pain. This makes it impossible for her to work and provide for her two children. They can't go to school at the moment because they don't have the necessary finances and are looking after their mother at home.

Thanks to generous people, Sioni's leg has now been operated on, but the healing process is still ongoing. Sioni is a single mother. Even if she is one day able to move again without pain, she is dependent on support to ensure that she and her children are well cared for.
