This is Jesca, she is 40 years old and the mother of 4 children. Her life was also characterized by poverty from the very beginning. Her parents worked hard to provide for the family. Then Jesca got married and had her first child when she was 20. Everything went well at first, her husband had a thriving business and they were able to move into their first little house. Three more children followed.

At some point, the marriage began to crumble when the business started to deteriorate and more and more arguments arose. To make matters worse, Jesca discovered that her husband had two more children with another woman. In order to keep his head above water, Jesca's husband began to gradually sell things from the house, and what was left over was spent on alcohol.

Nach etlichen Streitereien und körperlichen Übergriffen an Jesca und auch den Kindern, verließ sie mit den drei noch Minderjährigen Kindern das Haus und ihren Ehemann. Sie musste zurück in ihr Elternhaus um dort ganz von vorne anzufangen. Als alleinstehende Mutter ist es hier kaum möglich sich selbst, geschweige denn Kinder, alleine zu versorgen. Meistens fehlt es an Nahrung und Mittel für die Schulgebühren.
